Wheels to Heal

Coram is a vibrant group of specialist charities and organisations, supporting hundreds of thousands of children, young people and families every year in the UK.  They have a campus in Bloomsbury, London.  Rangoonwala Foundation funded the construction of the Rangoonwala Conference and Learning Centre, which opened on 5th December 2018, as part of the newly constructed Queen Elizabeth II Centre. The Conference and Learning Centre will build Coram’s capacity to provide vital professional training, helping vulnerable children across the UK and around the world.  It comprises an 80-seat lecture theatre and four seminar rooms, with tele-conferencing facilities throughout. It is a state-of-the-art professional education and seminar facility open for use by Coram’s services and partner organisations.  The Conference and Learning Centre is used by professionals more than 5,500 times each year, improving the lives of more than 830,000 children each year throughout the UK and hundreds of thousands more across the globe.  In addition to these outward-facing uses of the Conference & Learning Centre, Coram estimate a further 2,400 uses relating to purely internal or fundraising activities.
