The natural environment that surrounds us is not only our home, but also the source of everything that keeps us alive: from the food we eat to the water we drink and the air that we breathe. For this reason alone, we should all be working together to protect nature. Yet only a small percentage of public and private funds are dedicated to environmental causes – this is especially the case in countries such as Pakistan and India. Our global efforts to alleviate poverty, improve health and tackle other major issues will amount to very little if climate change is not urgently addressed. As such, we have made the environment one of the key focus areas for our work.
