JAWAAN CHAMPIONS
Jawaan Champions, an initiative of the Rangoonwala Foundation, is dedicated to providing physical education opportunities to schools across Pakistan through teacher training and school engagement. Our vision is to empower youth by integrating physical education (PE) and modified sports programs that nurture future leaders capable of driving positive change and fostering community development.
Currently, Jawaan Champions operates in nearly 300 schools in Karachi, benefiting over 82,000 children, and has expanded its presence to four rehabilitation centers in the city.
We work closely with schools and teachers in underserved communities, using modified sports to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and leadership skills among students. We believe in the transformative power of sports and its ability to impact all participants positively.
In addition to physical fitness, we prioritise mental well-being, recognising its importance for both students and teachers involved in our programs. Our holistic approach emphasises the need for community involvement in supporting mental health, aiming to create an inclusive and supportive environment where both physical and psychological well-being are valued.
